What is Personal Branding?
The concept of personal branding has been around since at least the 1990s and it goes beyond simply obtaining a basic head shot.
Personal Branding is about capturing your unique, authentic brand in its best light and presenting it to the world so that it draws the attention of your target market. Ideally, you've created an avatar of your ideal client. In turn, you direct your communications to that ideal client. When you utilize personal branding, you provide prospective clients and customers a consistent, clear, cohesive message about your purpose which makes it easier to build trust and rapport with those prospective clients.
If you are in the midst of brand development, that's ok. In fact, it's pretty normal for brand owners to continuously refine their message to adjust to the dynamics of the marketplace. However, each brand has a core that remains consistent. To help you with your brand, we will review many items pertinent to your brand and goals during a concept and design consultation. The questions I use have a basis on my studies with other photographers specializing in personal branding such as Megan DiPiero and Tammy Zurak Allen. For instance, we will discuss the possible options for use of your photographs - website, blog, social media, etc. During the consultation, together we will develop a plan for the who, what, why, where, and when of your images.
When you meet me for a personal branding session, you'll benefit from my years of experience as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Additionally, you'll receive archival, craftsman quality prints.
