How much is the session?

A non-refundable fee of $325 will confirm your Style Appointment, Check Up call, and 60 minute Session in studio.

It does not include any digital or printed images. 

What do the images cost?

It’s best to discuss the specifics with you over the phone, or even better in person so we can begin designing something to fit your style, space, and budget. When you schedule a call with me, I'll provide the full price list while we talk so we can work within your budget. In the meantime, wall art begins at $450.

How does it work?

  1. Reach out by phone or email so we can set up a time to chat, or opt to schedule a call online.

  2. We'll chat to discuss your needs, style, space, and budget. It's even better if you send me a few images of your space beforehand.

  3. When you choose me as your photographer, you'll receive a contract to sign electronically & an invoice to pay to confirm your session date & time. We'll also schedule your Style Appointment & Check Up call.

  4. During the Style Appointment, we'll finalize a plan for your session that meet your needs and coordinates with your style. You'll receive a few emails from me with guidance on on color palettes and a checklist to prepare for your session. I'll even give you a buzz a few days before your session to make sure that everything is on track.

  5. At the session, I'll have done my best to prepare so that you only experience pleasant surprises while you're in my studio.

  6. We'll set up your Design & Ordering appointment at the end of your portrait session or shortly afterwards so you'll have a date to look forward to.

  7. At the Design & Ordering appointment, you'll see the best of the best based on what you've shared about how you would like to display your images & see your loved ones. It will take me 2 to 3 weeks to curate and edit your photos. Typically, you'll see 12 - 18 images from your session because I know that more than that can be overwhelming. You buy only what you love.

Can I have the digital images?

Any print purchase will be accompanied by a corresponding digital file (i.e. .jpg).

No, I mean can I ONLY have the digital images?

Of course you can!  They are available at the a la carte price of $225 per image.  But why would you do that when it's a better deal to buy a desk print (size 5x7 and smaller) and get the print along with the digital?    

What if I forget my earrings or a pair of cufflinks?

It happens more often than everyone wants to admit. It's ok!  I have an assortment of earrings and cufflinks available if you forget something on your dresser as you head out for the day.  

Do you have a wardrobe I can use?

The studio has a few dresses and fabric drapes available for your use. We can discuss the possibilities during the Style Appointment. However, I strongly urge you to bring your own items to ensure a proper fit. 

How long before I see the images?

Within two to three weeks of your session, you will return to view a curated gallery of photographs from your portrait session. Unless otherwise arranged, all viewings will be at the studio. If you are traveling from outside of the area and won't be local on that timeline, please let me know as soon as possible so I can either try to expedite your viewing date or make arrangements for a virtual viewing via video chat (e.g. Google Hangout or Zoom).

Can I bring my family/friend/spouse with me?

Yes, of course, provided they are being photographed as well.*   Due to my space, I do limit the sessions to about 4 adults & 4 school age children. We can discuss your needs and work arounds for larger groups during our initial call & Style Appointment.

*Exceptions are made for those under the age of 18 who must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 

How long is the session?

Typically, appointments for sessions are 60 minutes. If you have particular needs, I can create a custom quote for your session.

I’m from out of town and traveling for the session. Do I need to come back for my viewing after the two weeks?

If you are traveling from out-of-town please let us know as soon as you book so we can expedite your viewing date or make arrangements for a virtual appointment (e.g. Google Hangout or Zoom). 

How can I pay? 

I invoice via Square.

What happens if I need to reschedule my session?

If for some reason you need to reschedule your session, please contact me as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours prior to your session. 

What happens if I need to cancel my session?

If you need to cancel your session it’s not a problem at all — but I will be sad to see you go.  Remember, the style/booking fee is non-refundable.
